Mean Girls is SO FETCH you guys and it’s not just because of the high energy, hilarity that ensues on stage, but it is also STROBE FREE!! I had the opportunity to see the show on February 1st at the August Wilson Theatre in New York City. I asked one of the ushers on my way into the theatre and he was super helpful, providing us with affirmation that there are no strobe lights used in the performance. He did let us know that the set was built out of LED flats and that some of the lighting transitions happen suddenly, but there are no intense lighting effects used in the show. So enjoy your trip to the theatre and be sure to wear PINK!
